BACKGROUND

Carlos Olmeda is a former three time Golden Gloves Champion.  Originally from Mexico City, Mexico, Olmeda moved to North Carolina with his family.  He has been able to carry on the rich, Mexican Boxing tradition.

A full time laborer, who is dedicated to the sport of boxing, he has one goal:  To Be The First Four Division Title Holder from Mexico.

PRO CAREER

Made his pro debut on April 10, 2015 by knocking out Kendrick Brown at the JC gym in Raleigh, NC.  A Contract dispute rendered Olmeda inactive for almost two years. After the contract issues were resolved, Olmeda signed with Top Catz Boxing and made a big Top Catz Boxing debut April 27.  Olmeda, a fan favorite with a huge following, destroyed Noy’a McNair with an awesome body shot, and improved his record to 2-0 (2 KO’s).

AMATEUR EXPERIENCE

Olmeda won the North Carolina Golden Gloves, Virginia Golden Gloves, and the regional Golden Gloves tournaments. He was one fight away from qualifying for the Olympics, but lost his qualifying bout on points.
