Durham Fight Night: Fighters Make Weight For June 22 Showdowns

Newly crowned UBF lightweight champion Maynard Allison and Roy Garcia stepped on the scale ready for war tomorrow night at the Durham Armory in Durham, NC.

Allison weighed in at 138 pounds and Garcia weighed in at 137 pounds.  While Allison will not be defending his UBF title, Garcia made it very clear he wanted Allison to let him wear the belt after Garcia scores the upset.

Hafiz Montgomery of Toms River, NJ and Austin Bryant of Lucama, NC weighed in at 205.5 pounds and 197 pounds.  In the co-featured fight, Montgomery and Bryant are fighting for the WBF Jr North American Regional title.

Hometown favorite and undefeated Heavyweight Nate Williams weighed in at 249 pounds, while West Virginia Heavyweight Buddy Tessling weighed a whopping 283 pounds.

Welterweight sensation and undefeated Philly favorite Jaron Ennis weighed in at 151, and Robert Hill weighed 147.

Malcolm Jones was 177.5 pounds and Lanny Dardar 175.5 pounds made weight for what will prove to be a great battle.

Lavon McDuffie weighed 152 pounds and Robert Sweeney weighed 156 pounds for what will be an intriguing fight.

Brandon Clark weighed 172 pounds for his fight with David McGruder, who weighed 178 pounds.

In the battle of ZERO wins, Alan Beeman weighed 135.5, and Quamel McKeithen weighed in at 140 pounds.
